I like the Saw films too.

I have to say that I wasn't keen on what I saw of the IT remake. I watched about 20 minutes and turned it off as I was bored.

I like anything with sharks to be honest - give me a shark attack or a plane crash in a film and I'm happy lol.
Ditto that, love a good shark film.

must say are these horror or slash blood fest films not the horror definition I was brought up with but that's what needs to be decided

the definition seems to be
Horror is a genre of literature, film, and fiction designed to induce fear, shock, and unease, often exploring dark, supernatural, or psychological themes to evoke repulsion or terror. It often highlights societal anxieties through monsters or suspenseful scenarios

Like the exorcist or the shining hmmmmmm a lot like saw are more blood fest and murder in my mind anyway as is the shark movies but each have their own appeal

One that sticks in my mind is a Disney film believe it not. It was called The Black Hole. Made in 1979, starting Anthony Perkins. Near the end of the film the spaceship ventures further than ever before and gives two depictions. Heaven and Hell. Very scary.
