So I'm going to help you plan just encase labour win July

First you need self heating meals.




You can find these in any camping shop or online. 3 days of eating these and will want the world too end.




Water sells for £1.50 for 5lrs in most supermarkets. You will need 7lrs just to flush the bog !!


And on to the wind up torch !!





Its best to buy one with a radio.

I do keep a cooking camping set under my kitchen sink like this one.


I do keep 5ltrs of methylated spirits to run it too.


If you are one of the unlucky ones to suffer floods or power cuts just remember that it will be a short term thing and wont last forever. I will just go and stay on my boat until it's all over

Yeah, Swiss army knives are going to be coming out some with no sharp blades.

Honestly, they have to because of government regulations about having a blade.

CNN there are many others

Yet Amazon sells kitchen knives.

Baffles me.

What are they gonna ban next, hands?

I do carry a rescue knife on the water to cut lines. I have a good reason to carry it and wont get into trouble.






If I had this zombie knife... they would arrest me.

During the 70's we were advised to have two weeks supply of food and to build a little den under the stairs. Provision has been made for all important people to live underground. All over the country there are concrete bunkers ready and waiting.
On the subject of knives, I always carry a pair of scissors with me. There are a lot of fishermen where I live and their discarded lines cause a lot of problems to wildlife and bicycle wheels.
