Sir Keir Starmer gets accosted by a group of protesters accusing him of being against the working-class, of not doing anything to help Julian Assange etc. One person harangues him over the Jimmy Saville 'noncense', and that's what Sky,BBC seize upon. They really want Boris out of office, don't they? Should news channels be forcing the issue?

No...it's a farce, and if people are manipulated so easily, that's hard;y Boris's fault.
The PM had a point when he made that remark.
Starmer has repeatedly said Johnson should know about everything that's happening in his party....he is the boss, it's his duty to know what the people he leads are up to.

Well, Starmer was the DPP when it was decided not to prosecute Saville...so by his own reasoning.... Boris was right.

Boris Johnson promises full inquiry to discover who is responsible for repeating false claims about Keir Starmer and Jimmy Saville

borisaville.jpg

Boris Johnson, Prime Minister for at least the next twenty minutes, has pledged to hold an inquiry to get to the bottom of exactly who it was who recently repeated claims that Sir Keir Starmer had failed to prosecute paedophile Jimmy Saville.

The pledge comes in the wake of a mob surrounding Starmer in the streets outside parliament, jostling him and chanting phrases like ‘traitor’, ‘paedophile protector’, and ‘thanks Boris Johnson for letting everyone know that Keir Starmer chose not to prosecute Jimmy Saville’.

“I was horrified by the scenes outside parliament yesterday,” said Mr Johnson, whose nose appeared to grow a little as he spoke.

“I have recently been told by my advisors that claims about the leader of the opposition and Jimmy Saville were made a week ago.

“This is, of course, very troubling and, as such, I have ordered an inquiry into exactly what went on. It’s important to get to the bottom of exactly who said what, where, and to whom.”

It was then put to the Prime Minister that it was he who had accused Starmer of failing to prosecute Jimmy Saville and that he made the claim during a Parliamentary debate to a television audience of millions.

“I think it’s best that we await the results of the inquiry rather than try to pre-empt any conclusions it might draw,” said the PM.

“Um. Did I mention we did a brilliant vaccine rollout?”

It is relentless with this lad

Last night he was complaining about the lack of debate.

How is it possible to debate with someone who acts like a small child 100% of the time?

Who actually believes his hard-right reaction to every topic is genuine debate?

"They shouted at Brexit posh bloke Rees Moggy"

Which was widely condemned in ALL the pro-Brexit right-wing media.

Totally missing the point it has since been proven Starmer (who I despise) played no part in the Saville decision.

Therefore Boris should apologise and condemn those involved.

Because violent hard-right thugs, who enjoy Jimmy Carr shows, will use what Boris said as justification to commit acts of violence or abuse.

‘Why are you supporting the government?’
‘Traitor’
‘Why did you go after Julian Assange?’
‘Why did you ignore the Magna Carta?’

Hardly the rants of the ‘hard right’. I’d say it’s more likely Momentum have issues with their leader.

When Jacob Rees-Mogg had to be escorted by police as he walked home with his son to pro-Remain screams of “shame on you”, “traitor” and “Nazi”. I don't seem to recall this level of condemnation for the actions of politicians that stoked up such rhetoric towards pro-Brexit MPs. Or such a reaction from the media.

The main culprit was a former advisor to a tory MP.

The anti-vaxx movement is predominantly hard-right liberals.

Like I said you can NOT debate with people who do not even understand the basics.

Kier Starmer may not be personally responsible for Savile getting away with it but he was director of public prosecutions at the time. If he is not to be held responsible, who is? Even he himself said on video that ‘the buck stops with me’.
I think people need to know in a lot more detail exactly WHY Steirmer isn`t guilty of failing to Prosecute JS.

Ex-councillor thrown out of Tory party among mob at Starmer incident

William Coleshill, head of conspiracy theory group Resistance GB, at fracas as experts warn of rise of extremism.

A former Conservative councillor who was thrown out of the party and now heads an anti-vax group peddling a range of conspiracy theories was among a mob that harangued Keir Starmer before the Labour leader was whisked away by police.

As experts warned of a dangerous risk of extremism from a radicalised hard core as the pandemic wanes, the incident has focused attention on the rise of a plethora of protest groups.

One group present during Monday night’s fracas, Resistance GB, is led by the former north London Tory councillor William Coleshill, who draws on bogus justifications about ancient English “Common Law” to justify direct action.

Coleshill, who was initially suspended from the Tory party, was last year filmed chasing Michael Gove through Whitehall, and has also confronted the Labour MP Jess Phillips and the BBC journalist Nick Watt.

Members of social media channels run by Resistance GB, a self-styled journalism platform, continue to disseminate debunked conspiracy theories about the role of Starmer in protecting paedophiles such as Jimmy Savile – alongside other claims about the coronavirus pandemic and vaccines.

Man who got really really really angry about a footballer shoving a cat across a kitchen floor with his foot and who says the crowd should now punish him by "shouting at him".

While laughing at Holocaust jokes, and the slaughter of children in barbaric experiments at Auschwitz.

Is now trying to convince us the abuse Starmer received from Resistance GB was staged.
