Oh! How sad I feel for all cougars and their toy boys and Sugar Daddies with their trophy wives when the seventy year old's are locked up until Corona is defeated.
No parades at swanky do's, no charity events to 'support,' Nowhere to go except bed, and that's problematic!
Who said age makes no difference?

age has always been a barrier, the ultimate barrier to old age is life itself.

Age is no barrier at all. It's just people's minds and bodies that are different

It is pointless disputing that age is not a barrier. It is evident in all walks of life from young to old. If you have not experienced it yourself, you are either very fortunate or very ignorant. My guess is the latter.

It is something that I know of, and have also seen out in the world...that mind and body are seldom in tune with each other.
As has been said above, a ruined body may not contain a ruined mind.
Many elderly people will tell you that in their mind, they still feel something of the vigour of youth: it is the body that refuses to acknowledge this vigour. It is the body that makes heavy going of climbing the stairs, the mind is already up there.
