It is a long road that goes on and on
If only a destination to shorten the song
You can walk many a mile to stay where you are
Salvation and peace still lay afar
The night sky to watch over my plight
The crashing waves, the lullaby of life
If alone I must live and alone I must die
The beauty of life in me will still reside
