When I used the site before a lot of people were discussing/arguing about politics, current affairs and other geo political stuff and still see many people now talking about political stuff
If this was all in one room then half the room that wasn't interested in politics wouldn't be constantly moaning about the people that do talk about political news, ideas or world views and those that do like to talk about these topics would already have a room to do so
