What is the correct form. . . a leopard IS recognised by its stripes or a leopard ARE recognised by its stripes?

A Leopard with stripes? Only you would fall for that......Well that's not true I could think of a few others who might.

or
Tigers are recognised ....

I think :confused: :rolleyes:


Recognise and recognize both are acceptable spelling formats just one is American English and the other is British English o_O :D

If you crossed a Leopard with a Tiger how would it be recognizsed by they're spots or stripes?
