If NATO was attacked, the government would but would the people?
Conscription would be introduced for people aged between 18 and 45.
How many of us would encourage sons and daughters into the military? Would young women hand out white feather like they did 100 years ago to those who avoided military service?
The feeling I'm picking up is those with money would hand over credit cards to there kids and send them off on a "gap year" until its over.
The people I've spoken to have no interested in defending Poland's boarder, would never dream of defending Erdoğan Turkey. No amount of propaganda would convince people into defending Germany.
Most would just refuse.
Anger is growing towards Ukraine. While cuts are being made to public services funding to Ukraine continues.
The truth is there no public support for another war.
