I've been to Waitrose, Sainsburys, Aldi, Lidl, Asda, and every corner shop in a ten mile radius.

They've all sold out of marzipan.

Yes, you've missed the marzipan.
It seems the early cake baker gets the sugary goods. Or you could blame Brexit, I suppose.
