I do lurk in the chatroom sometimes and one of the things that caught my eye was this:

"I'm sick of dating men living in one bed flats, I want a man with a house "

This users was well past her sell by date and close to her use by date. (I cant think of many people I know who still live in houses here, but London and the south is mostly flats now.)

And I'm going to put the blame for this attitude on men including me...... men do try and buy women with gift's. It start's off with "Dad" spoiling daughters, then we have the first boyfriend copying Dad and this patten continues. If they don't do it, there seen as cheap.

I don't see anything wrong with this behavior, who wouldn't want to be spoiled? But if you want a good life being with someone shouldn't be a endless stream of gifts, it should be building a life together. That takes sacrifice.....less holidays, more saving.

Now back to trying to find a place for new wave ski I brought my niece for Christmas

That somehow makes me appreciate my one bed flat all the more.

Someone did ask me about the wave ski in that picture.

Its a wave ski one 165 imported from France.
The ONE 165 is the widest in the ONE range, and maximized for larger sizes wanting to get started in the waves. Its ergonomics and width have been designed to offer more comfort and stability to the rider, up to 1.95 m and 115 kg. It is the easiest and most stable model for schools and disabled surfing thanks to its seat and low center of gravity.

The traditional equipment has been revisited with the Initiation pack by offering a telephone leash, thigh straps and a front handle for more safety. Also available in Evolution pack.

They cost about £1400 with import taxes and delivery from the EU.

Normally wave ski are custom made to size but my niece is 14 and will grown up and out in the coming years. Its why I've gone for an off the shelf model. At 9.5kg she should be able to carry it on her own and have fun with her friends. I feel its becoming more of a life style here for young people. They don't really want to hang around waiting for Dad to pump up there paddle boards, they just want to come home from school and hit the beach during the summer. And why a wave ski and not a kayak? The wave ski's fly on flat water :p

I have counted, to date he has 134 surfboards in his flat, 43 kayaks, 22 wet/dry suits and 189 pairs of rubber shoes. :D

Kev that's closer to the truth than you think ;)
But I'm hoping her Dad will pick this one up at the weekend.
