What woke you up at a silly time of night

My phone just gone off at 3am with a uk customs notice
The stuff landed at 230am, 3am our gov wants paying.............

not me but my neighbour he came banging on my door at 3am, would you believe it ferkin 3am, good job for him i was still up playing my bagpipes.

Neighbours in an old flat. One below possibly had Tourettes who used to constantly laugh and holler hey-hey even at 2 or 3am. One above had a loud buzzing shaver at 5:30 in the morning and put the washing machine on at midnight hearing the rattle of the spin. The neighbour above also had prostitutes twice a week until midnight and kept awake with the loud fake groans.
If you have lived in a flat you may relate to this with flats with thin concrete floors and walls.

I have great neighbours on both sides and in the house opposite at the back, and we all look out for each other.

The house opposite like to play loud young person music in the summer months and smoke endless spliffs, but there is no alcohol fuelled arguing/violence and they always wind it down around 10-11 pm ish just to keep everyone else happy.

There is a lot of petty thievery in my area, usually outsiders coming in to chance their luck. My American Bulldog rarely barks and will only bark if she hears/senses wrong uns lurking in the back alley late at night when it is dark. My neighbours are totally fine with this because they fully understand that she is just doing her job, and of course the bonus is it warns them as well.

A couple of years ago I was woken up in the middle of the night by something banging on the window. Got up but couldn't see anything. Opening the curtains in the morning this image was ingrained on the glass...

I was rudely awoken at 4am after falling a sleep on the sofa by my washing machine. Its got "wifi" you know !!!
The sodding thing was screaming "update failed please try again". Well that will be disconnected from my broadband today
