I'm off soon to the Isle of Man for a couple of days. I'm reminded of the last time I went there...
It was a good few years ago, and i'm hoping for better luck this time because we were supposed to be sailing from Liverpool, but because of bad weather we got bussed all the way up to Heysham
Crossing the Irish sea was awful, I was seasick. But from what I can recall it was a nice weekend. As you can imagine, I wasn't looking forward to the return trip because I was going to miss the Big Brother final, and I knew with all the cancellations the ship would be heaving, and it was! Just on the off-chance I asked if there were any cabins available, there was just one left, I could have kissed him! To be able to just chill out in our own space... AND it had a tele! 
The best 36 quid I've ever spent.
