I have a new kayak on order and they have asked for £200 delivery. It's only 30 miles away. So I've invested in a soft roof rack costing £53 off Amazion.

I did use this yesterday and it worked better than I thought




I used the 2 new traps thru the front of the car to help tie it down. I kept my speed down to 55 miles per hour too. There was a endless tapping sound as I drove up to pick the kayak up. Once the kayak was on the car this stopped and was replaced with an endless whistling noise from the packaging

Overall I spend about £70 on this.

I'm really happy with his as a temporary solution. I mite use it again
