We will be having all new windows too next month.
I intend to cover the furniture with old sheets before they come, obviously you take down blinds and curtains and move furniture as far away from the windows as possible.

Make sure you keep the Fensa certificate/ guarantee. You'll need it if you ever come to sell. The last house I sold, everything was going through fine.. Then out of the blue the solicitor asked for the certificate for the windows. The trouble that caused me...

I am going to cover everything up ;you need lots of sheets 20 or 30 to get everything covered up.i'll cover everything up the day before and leave it covered up until well after it will mean everything's covered up for 3 or 4 days but i can live with that.We had a ceiling plastered and some decorating done at the same time a while ago and everything was covered up for nearly a month also we have a room we don't use i did some painting in and covered everything up in there; when i finished i cleaned up;cleared the floor but left everything covered up as we don't use the room. The furniture in that room as been covered up for over 6 months. Thanks very much for your reply hope your windows installation goes ok.

Thanks, and the same to you. x

Just as a handy hint, I have looked on websites and dustcloths, 4x5 metres can be bought for £4.
I think I will save my sheets and buy a few of them.

I will take a look Sam, Thanks. x

You would probably be better off paying a little bit extra in all truthfulness. I have used them before and they are very flimsy they also attract static and cling together and I have even ripped them separating them.

I looked on the B&Q website, but if I can get them cheaper for the same quality, I definitely will.
I don't need them till the middle of Feb, (fingers crossed)
