How was it?

Did Christmas day go as planned?
Did you eat, drink, mix and be merry...or was it all a big damp squid.


Not to moan, because I did have a nice Christmas day, just not the one we planned.
Night out on Thursday...cancelled.
Family of six coming for Christmas dinner...cancelled.
Out visiting today for family buffet....cancelled.

All thanks to Covid.

I certainly made the best of it, and was spoilt but I tested positive for covid Christmas Eve and am now a bit poorly.

Thankfully my daughter is having a wonderful time and none the wiser of me being ill.

Two of my family, young ones too, are still feeling poorly.
I think it does highlight how infectious this latest strain is.

Thank you, and I’m sorry to read they are still suffering, it isn’t pleasant and it meant my customary sea swim on Boxing Day was out the window!

Thankfully my daughter got enough Lego and board games to open a shop so there is still fun to be had

I love swimming, but you are a lot braver than me, swimming on Boxing day.
