How to scare away potential members from UKChat

Every time I come onto this site (which isn't often these days) I am bombarded with pornographic images. Now there are pornographic images at the top of every page. Some members might be into this kind of thing, but what if you just want a normal chat? I wonder how many people are put off using this site, because of the X rated content? It's a shame, because this could be a reasonable chat forum.

There is a rumor UKchat.co.uk with will merged with this site soon. If that happens.... well it will be the final death nail on this forum. Few, if any of the people posting right now will continue.

Since my adblocker lost the struggle with the porn ads, I wouldn't dare log on to this site in a public place, or even around family/friends.
