How do you nibble yours?

According to dieticians, no more than three portions of dairy should be consumed daily, and which I was completely unaware off and a 30g piece of cheese (matchbox sized) is considered one of them.

I was doing three times more cheese than that in one go!

Anyway, and sorry if I am late to the party, I discovered the 20g mini-snack bags of cheese which are exactly the right size!

I buy extra mature Cathedral City and depending on what mood I am in I will either thinly slice it for a single sandwich, shovel it down in one go, slowly nibble it, or chuck the whole piece in my mouth and let it slowly dissolve.

How do you nibble your cheese, guys?

I suppose I just eat it, without giving the matter much thought.

My authentic pasta al ragù, with homemade pasta, and with a sprinkle (matchbox sized) of Parmigiano Reggiano, would be totally wasted on you then. ;)

Let me share my personal Cheesegasm.

It starts the moment either Roquefort, Stilton or a hot strong and buttery Cheddar touches my lips, the soft, velvety warmth spreads across my mouth, a richness enveloping my senses in a cheese filled seductive embrace. Each tiny bite is a slow unraveling of complexity. At first, a sharp tang that teases, followed by a creamy smoothness that melts effortlessly, leaving a lingering, salty aftertaste dripping from my willing lips. The flavours deepen, intensifying with every indulgent chew. My forbidden pleasure, it builds with each licking savour. As the cheese dissolves, it coats my tongue in a silky, almost intoxicating way, inviting me to take another bite, to prolong the exquisite sensation. It's an intimate experience, where time slows, and all that exists is the divine pleasure of taste.

I do also like to ram it into my salivating maw, chunk upon chunk, gorging myself in a total cheesy passion, until I am spent.

Not necessarily, it's just that I don't have a particular strategy for eating cheese.

I don't smoke either, but after reading that passionate ode to the joy of cheese, I am going to nip down to the corner shop pronto and buy a cheeky pack of Rothman Royals. ;)

I've sprayed some disinfectant around!

The thought of certain forum users salivating from any wet orifice makes my Parmesan crust dry up!
