I mean, the population of Ukraine is only 37 million, but Russia's is 147 million, so surely Ukraine will run out of troops before Russia does, or am I missing something?

Take it you've never heard of the Vietnam War ?

Sure, the USA's population in 1968 was a massive 195 million compared to North Vietnam's 18 million, but the wimpy US politicians messed up by only going into the war on a half-hearted basis, as Westmoreland rightly said afterwards-

NATO and the US doesn’t want them to win, or rather doesn’t care who wins.

Yes, the only thing the West cares about is looking good, so that when it's all over they'll be able to say "Oh well, we sent Ukraine truckloads of weaponry, so we did our bit to help"

PUBLIC HEALTH WARNING

The government has issued a public health warning about the dangers of becoming hooked on doom-scrolling coverage of the Ukraine crisis.

What time did you go to bed last night? Ten? Eleven? Perhaps you stayed up ‘late’ until midnight?

Well, count yourself lucky, because there are many who were simply unable to drag themselves away from online far-right and Nazi news channels.

“Doom-scrolling rolling news is a very addictive substance which is more likely to be abused by men between the ages of 35 and 65,” explained a Department of Health official.

“Aside from sleep deprivation, addicts will often sit in their own filth as the pull of a very gradually changing news commentary is greater than the pull of the lavatory.

“Serious abusers will also binge eat, despite being well aware of when it’s lunchtime thanks to the ever-present on-screen clock.

“Only a year into the Ukraine crisis and families are already being torn apart by new sufferers.”

Bowryng Fanee is one such individual.

“I came home from the office yesterday to find both of our children screaming,” said Bowryngs’s ex-wife Karen.

“‘I’m hungry! I’m hungry!’ they were yelling, faces soaked with tears and snot.

“Bowryng was on the sofa, staring at the InfoWars news channel. He was still in his pyjamas. A massive urine stain spread from his crotch all the way down to his ankles.

“‘Just let me see this bit, sweetie,’ he kept saying, over and over again. ‘Just one more minute’.

“I unplugged the computer – he immediately snapped out of his trance and asked what that terrible smell was.

“I ordered him upstairs to take a shower, making him promise he’d lay off the far-right news channels.

“He’s still up there actually – probably reverted to his old habit of taking really long shits.

“Oh God, he’s got his phone with him! I can hear Alex Jones!

“The bathroom door’s locked! The door’s locked!”

I mean, the population of Ukraine is only 37 million, but Russia's is 147 million, so surely Ukraine will run out of troops before Russia does, or am I missing something?

It isnt about winning.

The "West" is losing the fight over hearts and minds in the rest of the world.
Remember, we in the "West" have a significant GDP advantage, but not a population one.
Nor, to be fair a moral one, after we have invaded countries on a whim.

Africa, India, pakistan, etc etc, are all being economically developed with the help of Russia and China.
While we in the "West" are telling them, "No you cant have coal power plants, they are bad for the planet".
China and Russia are happy to give them what they want, actual power in homes.
Stable economies and markets.

You know that the BRICS nations now outdo the G7 financially, the "West" is falling behind economically.
If China follows through with its threat to sanction the USA what do you think will happen.

The US and Europe will split, because Europe cannot do without Chinese and Russian supplies.

It could be the end of NATO.

Especially if the story by Hersch about the blowing up of Nordstream by the US is actually given air time.
Lets not forget it was Hersch who blew the whistle on Abu Graib etc.

I give the guy some credence.
So the US action was, technically an act of war against the EU and a member of NATO.

We are in a sh** storm right now, Ukraine, the EU and the US knows it cant win and Russia will let it come to the table.
Hell Russia has artillary stockpiles from World War 2, they can keep shelling Bakhmut for weeks.
Meanwhile 50+ tanks, in at least 6 months to train the crews, its laughable.
Just propoganda.

Russia will keep much of what it took, under the guise of elections, but the demands will preclude NATO involvement.

If Ukraine became part of NATO, always a red flag for Russia, the open geographical nature of the terrain would play to the strengths of the West technological advantage on the battlefield.

It leads geographically right into the heart of Russia.

This is old news, many senior politicains and intelligence heads have said the same thing for over 30 years.

Churchill once wisely said-
"In war there are neither friends nor enemies, only interests"
and that holds just as true nowadays.
A classic example is how America refused to get involved in WW2 for two years on the grounds it was none of their business, until the japs bombed Pearl Harbor and Hitler declared war on the US soon after.
Regarding Ukraine, it's debatable whether it's in our interest to get involved, so should we therefore take Riddick's advice?-

We in the West are being fed a non-stop diet of anti-Putin propaganda by the media, but he sees himself as a saviour saving Ukraine from the creeping encroachment of the sick and perverted satanic West, so maybe he's got a point..;)

The lying Western media says Putin "illegally" occupied Crimea in 2014, but the truth is the Crimean people voted to become part of Russia, and welcomed him in..:)-
