Local councils are cashing in on garden waste collections. Most charge between £80-100 per year for this service.
I refused to pay for this. You buy an waste incinerator for under £20. For many years I'd compost and never use it. Now I just burn it.
Chimineas and BBQs are not covered by Smoke Control legislation, but please show consideration to your neighbours and do not create excessive smoke or odour.
Incinerators come in many sizes, my advice is to go big.
If the local communists down the council is decide to go on strike and bin collections stop.... you can burn just about anything in these incinerators. Its surprising how little ash is left behind this can just be bagged up and put in the regular bin.
