I was talking to flowers58 about this today. You don't need to be on benefits ask for help from this fund.

Its just a forum on your local councils website.

Use this form to get extra support this winter if you are of pensionable age and struggling to pay your energy bills because you no longer receive a winter fuel payment.

Complete this form if you are of pensionable age and need support with energy bills this winter.

If you recieve a means-tested benefit (such as Universal Credit, Housing benefit or Pension Credit), do not use this form. Complete our Local Discretionary Social Fund form instead.
