Sky News is reporting that Colin Pitchfork has been released from prison. If we're not going to have the death penalty it's got to be life without parole. You can be sure if that parole board thought he was going to be living anywhere near them, he'd still be inside!

And that's exactly the issue- prisons are treated as rehabilitation centres and not as a form of punishment.

Update*
Due to increasing concerns about his behaviour, double child killer Pitchfork has been arrested and recalled to prison.
Young girls are a little bit safer now that he is back inside.

The parole board needs a complete overhaul.
They sit in private, make huge decisions on people they don't know from Adam, and their decisions are not usually challenged.

Unfortunately their mistakes put the public at risk, as we have seen all too often in the past.
