Judging by the forums at the moment, locking down new users is almost pointless. It’s either arguments or people complaining about arguments.

We are not allowed to discuss real issues, I assume because some make it personal. I know I’m guilty of that, in part, but reading the covid thread today has proved that too many idiots patrol these pages, so I don’t blame admin for closing some.

There is no Lockdown on Accounts ,

There are new user restrictions in place so that we can observe their behaviour before allowing them the freedom of the site ,

It only takes a small amount of time , a few POSITIVE profile and forum posts etc ,

You still have access to the Chat Rooms , Forum etc ,

It allows us to control unwanted persons re-joining , it also works ,
