Condensation can be an issue even with double glazing. You could just leave a window open but that's a bit of a non starter over the winter. My heating turns off radiators if it detects an open window.

So last year I brought a cheap one for £35 online.



This did good job in kitchen and I've just picked up better one for the bedroom.





The rest of the house I'm not too worried about for now. Like most people I'm worried about the running costs. And I think this is the main reason I've onl;y brought the small 1.2 lir units. They work well in small rooms.

I mite have to buy a bigger one for the lounge if we have cold winter.
