A friend, well not really a friend but someone I know from beach told me about creatine supplements.

Creatine is a compound the body naturally makes in the liver, kidneys and pancreas. We can also get it from animal proteins like red meat, fish and chicken. It acts as a quick fuel source for muscles, helping regenerate adenosine triphosphate, or ATP – a molecule cells use for energy.

But while busy goggling this caught my eye:

Studies suggest that creatine supplements may help brain function in people 60 and older. This includes:

  • Short-term memory.
  • Reasoning.
  • Neuroprotection (keeping groups of nerve cells safe from injury or damage).
Researchers are still studying whether creatine supplements may help people with cognitive (mental) conditions, including dementia.

And even the NHS is looking into this.

So off I pop to amazon and brought this for £13. (It was on a deal ;))
