"Sir David Amess, who represents Southend West in Essex, was attacked on Friday at Belfairs Methodist Church in Leigh-on-Sea. it is understood a man walked into his constituency surgery and stabbed him multiple times.

‘Officers were on scene shortly after, arrested a man and recovered a knife. He is currently in custody.

Paramedics were called to the scene flying in on an air ambulance, they fought to save Sir Amiss life.

Essex Police made a statement saying: “A man has been arrested on suspicion murder after a man was stabbed in #LeighonSea."

It's more about the motive behind the attack, especially if religion is involved, which seems to be the case here, considering the circumstances.
It's a strange distinction, i agree, but the authorities have to come to a conclusion on whether or not this is a solo incident, or something that has been planned by a larger group of people with a common goal or agenda.

A person that Kill's someone is a Murderer. Terror caused at the time of the killing is not classed as a Terrorist incident. Because the killer wasn't politically motivated.

A person that kills someone with Political motives is classed as a Terrorist.

One Woman stabs her bloke to death in Manchester over a drunken row is NOT the same as a Terrorist who PLANNED his/her attack purely for Political reasons. There is a BIG difference.

Crime's have to be categorised....One way or another. Weather you like it or not.

I agree.. there is way too much greed and violence in our world.

Mobile phones are one of the things to blame I think.! Every time I see a teenager walking across a busy road with their heads buried in a Screen...Goes through me.
