It can definitely predict the winning numbers, given one simple proviso:

It gets to do so 45 million times or so. One of them's bound to be right, but the AI refuses to accept any responsibility for your selection from the hard copy. Before you know it, you're in an argument with Skynet. Then the entire human race gets destroyed just because you didn't trust the lucky dip facility at the newsagents.

That just goes to show how quickly these things can escalate and how we should think carefully before meddling with the unfathomable powers of AI.

You might find this uncanny, but, those are exactly the same numbers I used on The Lottery last week. I didn't win.

However, I wonder if I use them every week I might eventually win the jackpot.
