Alas, another deplorable (ALLEGED) representation of viewers' opinions of the 'rightful winner of Sport's' most deserving individual of 2021!!!!!!!!!!! (to the Nth degree).
I only watch this comedic, annual farce to see who the BBC CLAIM to be meritorious of this most honourable British title.
Let's put the 'winner's', Emma Raducanu's achievement(s) into perspective. She's won one ONE solitary grand slam title in her entire life! Enough said!
Even Tom Daley, who has won several World AND Olympic medals in his long diving career came second. However, he has NEVER won Olympic Gold on his own merit.
HOWEVER, Adam Peaty, without doubt, the GREATEST British swimmer OF ALL TIME comes third in this JOKE of a vote.
Some C**T is surely having a a laugh!

I personally cast my vote for World Heavyweight (LINEAL) Boxing Champion, Tyson Fury: Britain's GREATEST sportsman, on several levels for many years, because he has triumphed, UNDEFEATED, throughout his entire professional boxing career. A man who both talks sense and a great exponent of his sport.
In all honesty, there is, quite simply, NO comparison.
This programme is a shameful representation of the BEST in sport and probably now has had its day ....
Very much in keeping with the dross, sadly under the guise of the BBC!

P.S. What the **** was Raheem Stirling doing there as a nominee? ..... Of course, he was representative of the minorities who 'get overlooked'.
Dame Sarah Storey was more deserving as a winner ... if it HAD to be a woman. Just look at her achievements, and you'll understand why.

Boxing bandwagon-jumping fake Tyson Fury fan. Fury despises these awards and the BBC in general due to the lies churned out about him by the BBC previously and threatened to take legal action if they include him on the shortlist. This fraud claims he is a fan yet still went ahead and voted for him anyway.

Sports personality of the year.
More back slapping.
Like the Oscars, or the Brit awards.
Who cares, they work, they get paid.

You dont see "best local shop worker" on tv.

BS to keep the plebs entertained.

The winner has hardly set the tennis world alight after her Grand Slam victory, but it's a 'personality' contest and she certainly has bags of that.

Emma Raducanu dedicates Sports Personality of the Year win to...

“all the creepy misogynistic man-children out there”

emma wins.jpg

18-year-old tennis prodigy, Emma Raducanu, the first qualifier to ever win a Grand Slam and the most successful female British player in almost fifty years, has taken the time after her historic win to give thanks to all the slimy jealous old fellas who feel the need to comment on her every move.

She went on, “It’s said that the tennis court is a lonely place, but the truth is that I am never alone when I play.

“Behind every swing of my racket there is a small army without whom I could not function. My family, my friends, my coaches and my practice partners, yes – but above all, there is the lustful gaze of decrepit chatroom forum sh1t-stirrers whose life is empty without some young woman to obsess about. It’s like I could feel them trying to sniff my hair as I played.”

In Yorkshire, an bitter old wino who wishes to remain anonymous, confirmed that he was glad his kind finally got acknowledged.

He told us, “It’s hard to spend hour after hour cyber-stalking famous young women and trying to insert myself into their lives, if only by calling them names in chatroom forum threads.

“Now if you excuse me, I can see some teenage girls in the park having a nice picnic. I’m going to give them an unsolicited lecture on how I can see their bras through their tops.”

I used to watch all of these celebrity award shows when i was younger, but i think they're so outdated and far past their sell by date.
But this is what television has become. Dull and boring quiz and game shows, hosted by uninspiring hosts who try everything in their power to be entertaining.

If they were only judging the award on personality, Tyson Fury would even win that 'hands down'!

Good to see the 'easy to wind up' duet have passed their usual, irrelevant and meaningless comments in yet another thread.
They have found purpose in their risible existences.

Angry old farter, white van man, mocks an 18-year-old girl online, alongside the now mandatory casual racism, while he rages about the injustice of a "personality" award on TV teenage kids watch.

Let's get back to the casual racism, look for an obvious black man and claim he is not worthy of being on the list for a "personality" show because he couldn't possibly have got there on merit. Although a "minority" won the damn award and Tyson Fury, who ironically white van man claims he supported, boycotts the BBC partly because of the racism gypsies experience on a daily basis.

Forgive my naivity but isn`t this Award voted for by the British Public ? If so then i don`t understand why so many posters are whinging about the winners or losers unless the suggestion is that the Vote was rigged ?
If not then i do understand the angry queries.( i didn`t watch it btw and probably won`t again.) Last time i watched it with enthusiasm was when Mo Farrah won the 5,000 & 10,000 metres Gold in both events within a few days of each other in London Olympics 2012.What an Athlete eh ?
