Doesn't matter who gets into power, it will always be the unelected bureaucracy of the government, the civil service, which control parliament.
They can simply bury anything they don't like in legal red tape and/or "Wording".
Politicians are there to get a well paid job in the private sector after they quit or are forced out.

I mean really, we now have a "Minister for Common Sense"
Although she did say recently that:-
“I think everybody who voted for lockdown aided what we’re going through now. I absolutely do.”

Apparently that got "Gasps" from the audience, which is suprising because anyone with half a brain knew lockdowns, with unheard of levels of government borrowing, would increase inflation massively.

Theres more, but thats just PR BS about the Tories getting finances right in the 2010's to be able to do it.
