I presume you know about the so-called 'battery' which is in the Baghdad museum? Apparently it was used to power a little lamp. A glass globe was placed on top and the 'battery' created enough charge to illuminate it.

Yes i do know about the 'Baghdad battery.'...It is and has always been 'Just a jar'...It was Nothing like a 'battery'..
