I do like my shark vac but right now its only collecting dust only on the outside. At 750 watts its too expensive to run.....

My Cecotec Conga robot vac that does much the same thing only using 80 watts.

Its better for the planet if I don't push the other vac round

Washing up........... I detest it

My home heating system is about 7Kw .... I have no idea how much it costs to heat up enough water to wash up. Even with my wood pellet burner it wont be cheap. That thing cost me £400 last year just to run !!

So I got a table top dish washer.

I spent a lot of time researching these and canceled the order once. I did think this one was going to be too small for my needs. You really have to be careful when buying one. There a lot of cheap Chinese imports coming in and they don't seem to be much good.

On the eco wash it uses 650 watts and runs for 90 mins.

Even a full size dishwasher only uses 850 watts on a cycle.

To be fair its faster and cheaper to do it by hand. You can get a bottle of washing up liquid for a pound and wash up in 20 mins. Dishwasher tablets are about 10p each. You need salt and rinse aid too.

But in the past month or so I've only wash up by hand when I've ran out of plates

So to save the planet... its better if I use a dish washer

Shopping....... is it really worth going out for it?

You can pay for it online Deliveroo will deliver it in 30 mins. All the supermarkets do it now. I know they charge a few pounds to bring it if the orders small but still..... its better than getting dressed and going out.

I got them to deliver a bottle of milk today for a pound.

Again I'm saving the planet by not getting out of my pj's

If I buy a set of pj's in primark for £13 and stay in them, it saves wear and tear on my more expensive clothes.

And I only need to wash them once a week too !!

Yet again I'm saving the planet by using the washing machine less
