£10 each!

    GPs are to be paid an extra £10 for every vaccination they do in a care home.
    So a salary of £100.000 per annum is not enough to tempt them from their safe little locked surgeries?
    I remember when general practice was an honourable profession.

    I take your point about the locked surgeries. until very recently we had to wait in the car park until a receptionist called us in. :rolleyes:
    There was talk last year of a nominal charge being introduced for GP appointments, I think 50p was mentioned. Not an unreasonable amount some might say. The problem with nominal charges is that they don't stay nominal! Prescription charges when they were first introduced were 20p . . . .
