Marmite OR Bovril?

It's becoming a source of serious debate in one particular chat room, (he types mockingly), but I do really want to know whether or not Marmite is as popular as the (desperate) advertisers like to portray.
My personal preference always has, and always will be, Bovril.
There's nothing like the 'real thing'.

Bovril is a drink that just tastes like watery Gravy.

Just for chuckles, most (not all) people who love marmite hate sprouts..

I don't care what you say, Marmite is a tragically poor substitute for Bovril and probably best used in Vegan gravies!
Each to their own 'poison', I suppose.
